Panasonic 3, 5 and 7 year warranty from December 2017

From December 2017 Logicool and Panasonic announce a new warranty scheme as follows:

3 Year Warranty

Applies to all Panasonic Equipment (not spares) purchased from Logicool.

  • Available to any installer who purchases Panasonic equipment from a Panasonic approved reseller
  • For Air to Air, the installer must be registered with Fgas or a similar accredited body (also for bi-bloc)
  • For Air to Water, will have to have adequate knowledge of air to water heat pumps
  • No training is required
  • No registration is required
  • Must be installed in accordance with Panasonic warranty requirements
  • Products must be maintained at least every 12 months

5 Year Warranty

Additional criteria to 3 Year is required

  • Must meet all of the criteria for Standard Warranty
  • Must have successfully completed training with Panasonic or Logicool (or another distributor) on an approved course
  • Must be registered with Panasonic (via Panasonic ProClub website)
  • Will be provided with a warranty card and unique ID number, which will last for a period of 36 months from the date of training
  • Systems must be maintained by approved installer, but not necessarily the original installer
  • Failure to be maintained by approved installer will result in warranty reverting to 3 years

7 Year Warranty

Additional criteria to 5 Year is required

  • Must meet all of the criteria for Extended Warranty
  • Product must be registered on PRO Club
  • No proof of purchase is required, it can be tracked by the serial number
  • Panasonic hold no responsibility for incorrectly submitted documentation that does not meet the requirements and failure to resubmit within 30 days of sending back will result in product being valid for 5 year Extended warranty only

Warranty Documents

  • Warranty document contains all key information relating to conditions
  • Document is available online on the main Aircon website and is specific to each region
  • UK is valid for UK, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man only. This includes Northern Ireland
  • Ireland is valid for the Republic of Ireland only
  • Document may be updated from time to time and will be valid from 30 days from upload to website. Notice will be posted online. It is not Panasonics responsibility to inform unless a major change is implemented

Terms & Conditions

  • The terms & conditions are absolute. If there is any doubt we will revise the warranty accordingly
  • If the T&Cs are not met, it will invalidate the warranty, no exceptions
  • If the systems are not maintain as detailed previously, they will revert to the 5 year, 3 year and 12 months respective

Procedure

  • Within reason, we will try to ensure we are fair and not overly stringent
  • If we receive a valid claim, we will process quickly and ship spares as soon as possible
  • If repeated claims are made by installer, we may request to visit site or appoint a service agent to attend
  • We will only attend site if we get signed agreement to cover cost in the event of a site issue
  • DOA or Logistics damage is not covered under warranty and must be processed accordingly
  • These must be dealt with through the approved, original reseller
  • We may cover Logistics or DOA costs through the Service Budget, but they do not constitute the same thing
